Edition 2025 — Palio Madama Margarita

The 2025 edition of the Palio Madama Margarita was held in Castel Madama, in the Tiburtine Lazio, on Saturday, July 5, Sunday, July 6, and Sunday, July 13, 2025. Between costumed processions, period decorations, and Renaissance games, the triumph at the end of the Horse Joust between the four districts went to the Castelluccio district, which won the coveted banner of Madama Margaret of Austria.

The Palio Madama Margarita 2025 confirmed the village of Castel Madama as the stage for one of the most heartfelt historical re-enactments in the Tiburtine Lazio. Amidst costumed processions, Renaissance decorations, and the spectacular Horse Joust, the districts of Borgo, Castelluccio, Empolitano, and Santa Maria della Vittoria competed for the banner that commemorates the entry into the fiefdom of Margaret of Austria in 1538.

Victory went to the Castelluccio district, at the end of days that involved the entire community of Castel Madama in challenges, tradition, and shared celebration.
