Edition 2025 — Palio di San Giovanni Battista

The XXXI edition of the Palio di San Giovanni Battista took place in Fabriano in June 2025, confirming the formula that every year, from mid-June until June 24th, enlivens the historic centre of the Marche region. The four Gates – Borgo, Cervara, Piano, and Pisana – competed in processions, flower carpet displays, medieval taverns, and the Hammer Challenge, in honour of the city's patron saint.

In 2025, the Palio di San Giovanni Battista reached its XXXI edition, renewing the event that since 1995 brings Fabriano back to the atmosphere of the 14th century every June. In that edition too, the historic centre of this Marche town hosted the historical procession with hundreds of costumed figures, artistic flower carpet displays, medieval taverns, and races between the four city Gates, culminating in the Hammer Challenge on June 24th, the patron saint's day. The event once again proved to be one of the most cherished historical reenactments in the Marche region, capable of uniting faith, tradition, and community identity.
