Palio di San Ginesio – Palio della Pacca (Medievalia)

The 2025 edition, the 54th, of the Palio di San Ginesio was held from August 11 to August 15. The event kicked off on August 11th with the draw for the starting order and the unveiling of the banner, followed by the opening of the taverns in Piazza Alberico Gentili and medieval theater-magic shows and entertainment.

From August 12th to 14th, the days alternated between historical conferences and evenings with acrobatics, ancient music, falconry, and shows, animated by groups such as LucuThea, Faira Alda, Kronos Acrobatic Theater, Errabundi Musici, and Lux Arcana. The grand finale, on Friday, August 15th, featured the solemn Mass and blessing of the banner, the historical parade to the competition field, and, from 5:00 PM, the Disfida della Pacca at the Campo del Palio, with the champions of the four Gates (Alvaneto, Ascarana, Offuna, Picena) competing for victory.
