Edition 2025 — Palio di Lodi

The 2025 edition of the Palio di Lodi brought the historical procession of the districts and the traditional wooden horse races back to Piazza della Vittoria: the ring joust, the puledrìn, and the cursa dei cavai, preceded in the morning by mass in the Cathedral.

In 2025 too, the Palio di Lodi animated the first Sunday of October with its unmistakable formula. The historical procession crossed the city center with costumed figures, drummers, and flag-wavers, reenacting episodes of Lodi's history, while in Piazza della Vittoria the three races that award the banner were held. A day of popular celebration that each year attracts Lodi residents and visitors to the city, confirming the Palio as one of the most characteristic reenactments in the province of Lodi.
