Edition 2025 — Palio delle Zattere
In 2025, the Palio delle Zattere also animated Valstagna, in Valbrenta: the nine contrade competed in a raft race along the Brenta river, reenacting the ancient tradition of raftsmen and timber trade with the Serenissima.
The 2025 edition of the Palio delle Zattere took place in Valstagna, Valbrenta, confirming one of the most characteristic events in the province of Vicenza.
The nine contrade competed with their rafts along the 3 km of the Brenta river, amidst rapids and skill tests, in a historical reenactment that celebrates the identity of Valbrenta linked to timber transport to Venice. Organized by the Pro Loco of Valstagna.
