Edition 2025 — Palio delle Frazioni

The 25th edition of the Palio delle Frazioni was held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Primaluna, postponed from the previous June due to bad weather. Six knights and six archers from the hamlets competed for the Golden Ring, amidst a historical parade, flag-wavers, and medieval atmospheres.

The 25th edition of the Palio delle Frazioni took place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, after being postponed from its original June date due to bad weather. The day began at 6:30 PM with Mass in the church of San Rocco, followed at 8:00 PM by the historical parade through the historic center and, immediately after, the palio at the sports field.

The six hamlets — Cortabbio, Primaluna, Pessina, Gero, Barcone, and Vimogno — fielded their knights and archers in the race for the Golden Ring, enlivened by performances from the Gruppo Sbandieratori e Musici della Torre di Primaluna and the participation of local figures and associations.
