Edition 2025 — Palio delle Contrade
On August 16, 2025, Montelongo renewed the Palio delle Contrade of Saint Roch, with the five districts of the village competing in the equestrian race along the predetermined course, as part of the celebrations for the patron saint.
The Palio delle Contrade of Saint Roch 2025 confirmed the equestrian tradition of the Frentano village in Montelongo. The five districts fielded their horses for the August 16th challenge, while the celebrations for the patron saint Saint Roch enlivened the town during Ferragosto, with religious moments, the race, and community festivities. The proclamation of the winning district concluded one of the most anticipated days of the Montelongo summer.
