Edition 2025 — Palio della Marciliana

In 2025, the Palio della Marciliana animated the third weekend of June with the usual reenactment of the War of Chioggia. The five districts competed in the Crossbow Palio, amidst historical processions, medieval taverns, workshops of ancient crafts, and the burning of the tower, in front of a large audience in the lagoon's historic centre.

The 2025 edition of the Palio della Marciliana confirmed the event as one of the most popular historical reenactments in the Veneto. Hundreds of participants in 14th-century costumes brought the alleys and squares of Chioggia to life, reconstructing the medieval life of the city during the War against Genoa.

The program followed the usual pattern: blessing of the districts and historical procession, medieval taverns and markets, reenactment of the Genoese raid with the burning of the tower, and the grand finale, the Great Crossbow Palio between the five districts.
