In September 2025, the Palio del Vecchio Mercato confirmed its tried-and-tested format: a week of challenges between the districts of Montebelluna, historical parades, old-fashioned markets, and evenings of music and entertainment in the city centre, with the main race drawing a large audience.

The 2025 edition of the Palio del Vecchio Mercato traditionally enlivened the centre of Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso, during the first week of September. The city's districts competed in sporting and skill-based tests culminating in the main Sunday race, while costume parades, the historical market, and food and wine evenings accompanied the public throughout the week.

Organized by the Ente Palio Città di Montebelluna, the event combined sport, historical reenactment, and popular celebration, reaffirming the city's strong connection with its ancient market and the community of the Marca Trevigiana.
