Palio del Ponte District Games

The 32nd edition of the Palio del Ponte District Games was held in Acquarica del Capo (Presicce-Acquarica) from September 8 to 12, 2025, on the Don Tito oratory pitches. For five consecutive evenings, the town's districts faced off in a team competition consisting of games, skill tests, and neighborhood spirit, in front of a large audience of families and young people.

As per tradition, the Palio represented the opening moment of the Acquarica festival season: from September 13 and 14, the community gathered for the Madonna del Ponte festivities, with a procession, a fair, and performances. The combination of district games and the Marian feast confirmed the strong identity value of this appointment in the summer calendar of lower Salento.

The 32nd edition took place over five evenings, from September 8 to 12, 2025, on the Don Tito oratory pitches. Each evening, the districts of Acquarica del Capo fielded their teams in the point-based competitions that determined the final standings and the awarding of the Palio to the winning neighborhood.

The event served as a prelude to the Madonna del Ponte festivities on September 13 and 14.
