Palio del Daino

The 2025 edition of the Palio del Daino, the 36th, animated the village of Mondaino from August 14th to 17th under the motto "Let's relive history together… Put yourself in the Palio". Four days of re-enactment of the 1459 peace between Malatesta and Montefeltro, with the four districts engaged in traditional games and tavern management.

Among the most anticipated events were the falconry displays in Piazza Maggiore, historical encampments, ceremonial parades, and shows by street artists, musicians, and jesters. Not to be missed were the improvisations in rhyme by the storyteller Gianluca Foresi, and the final challenges between the Borgo, Castello, Contado, and Montebello districts that awarded the Palio.
