Edition 2025 — Palio del Capitano di Castello

In 2025, the Palio del Capitano di Castello was not held: the historical re-enactment of Misano Adriatico, born in 2011 for the five hundredth anniversary of the village's autonomy, had been paused for some years. It is precisely from this long break that the relaunch project was born, which will bring the festival, with its nine districts and medieval shows, back in August 2026.

The Palio del Capitano di Castello in Misano Adriatico, in the province of Rimini, did not take place in 2025. The event, created in 2011 to celebrate the five hundredth anniversary of the Municipality's autonomy, had been suspended for several years. It was precisely during this period of silence that the Misano Monte District Committee APS developed the project to revive the re-enactment, bringing together all the district committees of the territory. The work initiated during 2025 laid the groundwork for the return of the medieval festival, with its nine districts and historical parades, scheduled for August 2026.
