Edition 2025 — Palio dei Rioni
The Palio dei Rioni of Viggiù, Saltrio, and Clivio was on hold for nine years before the return announced for 2026. Its long history, which began in 1969, has made the tournament among the districts of Valceresio one of the most cherished events in the area, with sports competitions and great popular participation.
The Palio dei Rioni experienced a nine-year interruption before the revival planned for 2026: there is therefore no actual 2025 edition.
Its tradition, which began in 1969, has deep roots in Valceresio, where the challenge between the districts of Viggiù, Saltrio, and Clivio has always been synonymous with summer, sport, and village identity.
