Edition 2025 — Palio dei Rioni Serravalle

The 39th Palio dei Rioni of Serravalle Sesia took place on June 14 and 15, 2025, with the theme "Rioni at the Corrida". On Saturday, June 14, at 9:00 PM, the medieval pageant paraded through the town streets; on Sunday, June 15, at 2:30 PM, the donkey race crowned the winning Rione. A new edition of the historic challenge between the eight Rioni of the municipality, in Valsesia.

The 2025 edition, the 39th, of the Palio dei Rioni of Serravalle Sesia (Province of Vercelli) had the theme "Rioni at the Corrida". On Saturday, June 14, the traditional medieval pageant, with flag-wavers and costumed participants, paraded through the town centre starting at 9:00 PM.

On Sunday, June 15, at 2:30 PM, the donkey race took place, the highlight of the event, with the awarding of the hand-painted banner to the winning Rione. As per tradition, the festival involved the entire community of Serravalle Sesia with games, shows, and convivial moments, setting the stage for the 50th-anniversary edition in 2026.
