Edition 2025 — Palio dei Micci

The 2025 edition of the Palio dei Micci upheld the folkloric tradition of Querceta: on the first Sunday of May, the eight districts competed in the donkey race at the Stadio Buon Riposo, preceded by the historical pageant in costume featuring noble ladies, knights, drummers, and flag-wavers. The race was surrounded by the usual season of spring events.

In 2025, the Palio dei Micci once again brought life to Querceta, a village in Seravezza (Lucca), with its donkey race between the eight districts of the town: Cervia, Leon d'Oro, Lucertola, Madonnina, Ponte, Pozzo, Quercia, and Ranocchio.

The highlight day, the first Sunday of May, saw the Stadio Buon Riposo in Pozzi packed for the historical pageant and the donkey race on the traditional six-lap track. As per tradition, the event was part of a season of appointments—the Miccio Canterino Festival, Flag Games, District Relay Race, football tournament, and Miss Palio—organized by the Pro Loco Querceta.
