Palio dei Lumi and Celebrations in honor of the Madonna dei Lumi

The 2025 Calcio in Costume final was played on September 8th, the day of the Nativity of Mary, in front of a packed Campo dei Lumi for the village festival of Pieve Santo Stefano. Rialto beat Ponte Nuovo 4-1, with goals from Giovanni Cipriani, Rinaldini, Andrea Ciocchi, and captain Andrea Galletti.

With this success, the orange-green district collected its third useful victory and won the Palio, confirming itself as one of the most in-form districts of recent years. As always, the festival combined the religious dimension of the celebrations in honor of the Madonna dei Lumi with the enthusiasm of the challenge between the four historic districts of the town, in the heart of the Arezzo Valtiberina.
