Palio dei Borghi of Piobesi Torinese

The Palio dei Borghi of Piobesi Torinese is a historic event in the municipality, in the Province of Turin, which sees the town's five districts compete in popular games and contests. After the last editions, the event remained suspended for over a decade, while retaining a strong sense of identity for the local community. The tradition, consisting of skill trials, sports competitions, and moments of conviviality, was preserved in collective memory until the announcement of its return, eager to relive the rivalry between Caviün, Borgo Vecchio, Velino, Cascine, and San Rocco.
