Palio dei 4 Cantoni

A year of waiting

In 2025, the Palio dei 4 Cantoni of Cerano did not take place due to the prolonged inactivity of the 4 Cantoni Committee which, after decades of activity starting in 1983, had been dormant for several years. The tradition, however, was never forgotten: the town's bond with its 15th-century past and with the Patronal Feast of Beato Pacifico kept alive the desire to see the four districts — Castello, Canton Nuovo, Mulino, and Troggia — parade once again. It was in this climate that the rebirth of the committee matured, leading to the celebratory edition of 2026.
