Palena Film Festival

The 14th edition of the Palena Film Festival was held in August 2025 at the Teatro Aventino "Ettore Maria Margadonna" in Palena, in the province of Chieti. Among the main awards, the prize for Best Short Film went to "Pocho" by Antonio Ruocco, while Best Director was awarded to Michele Falzone for "Nessun Menta - Nobody Lies". Best Screenplay was awarded to "Gioia" by Eduardo Castaldo, Best Music to "Arrivederci Parigi" by Louis Bellanti, Best Animation to "The Sprayer" by Farnoosh Abedi, and Best Music Video to "I Don't Want to Live Without You" by Oscar Serio and Lorenzo Gabanizza. Numerous special mentions were also awarded to short films, animations, and music videos in competition.
