Palchi Diversi - Summer at Donnafugata Castle

The 15th edition of "Palchi Diversi - Summer at Donnafugata Castle," the tenth year of the festival on the staircase, took place between July and August 2025 under the artistic direction of Federica Bisegna and Vittorio Bonaccorso.

The programme featured three titles, all starting at 9:00 PM on the "vertical" staircase of the Castle:

• «A birritta cu 'i ciancianeddi» by Luigi Pirandello (new production, also known as "The Cap and Bells"), on July 12, 13, 17, 18, and 20;
• «Macbeth» by William Shakespeare, re-staged from July 30 to August 3;
• «The Coffee Shop» by Carlo Goldoni, until the final evening on Sunday, August 24.

The season, hosted in the park of Donnafugata Castle in the province of Ragusa, recorded sold-out performances, attracting hundreds of spectators each evening to the evocative Baroque setting of the Iblean territory.
