Palazzo del Pero Mushroom Festival

The Palazzo del Pero Mushroom Festival did not take place in 2025. The festival, once capable of attracting visitors from all over the province of Arezzo and beyond, had been interrupted for about sixteen years. In the absence of the event, the village continued to preserve its tradition linked to the Valcerfone porcini mushroom, a land with a particularly suitable microclimate.

The void left by this long pause is at the origin of the relaunch project: during 2025, the village associations, gathered around the local social club that has returned to new life, developed the idea of reviving the festival, choosing to start small and then grow over time. The result is the return of the Mushroom Festival in September 2026.
