Palagonia AranciaFest – Red Orange Festival

In 2025, the Red Orange Festival of Palagonia was not held in its traditional format: the event had been on hiatus for a few years before the grand return that took place with the 2026 edition. However, the long citrus tradition that links Palagonia, in the heart of the Catania Plain, to the PGI Red Orange — the iconic product of the territory and a historical protagonist of city festivals — remains alive. The revival of AranciaFest has brought tastings, conferences, and shows back to the town's squares, reconnecting with a tradition deeply felt by the community.
