Painting Extempore - "Giacomo Lisia" Prize

The 2025 edition

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, Paliano hosted the 24th edition of the Painting Extempore - "Giacomo Lisia" Prize, the final step before the twenty-five-year milestone. The event was part of the Estate Palianese (Paliano Summer) program promoted by the Municipality of Paliano, which brought concerts, theatrical performances, and Ferragosto celebrations with the historical pageant and the Giostra del Turco (Joust of the Turk) to the city between June and August.

In 2025, the day followed the consolidated competition scheme: registration and stamping of supports in the morning, execution of works from life in the historic center, submission in the afternoon, evaluation by the jury, and exhibition of works with a final awards ceremony. An event that continues to keep the memory of the painter Giacomo Lisia alive and to showcase the village's views through the eyes of artists.
