Edition 2025 — Pagaruoi
On the evening of January 5, 2025, the hamlets of Rocca Pietore lit the Epiphany pagaruoi as tradition dictates. The community gathered from 9:00 PM around the propitiatory bonfires of Malga Ciapela, Sottoguda, Col di Rocca, Saviner di Laste, and Digonera, accompanied by the figure of the donàza, the Ladin Befana of the Dolomites.
In 2025, the pagaruoi once again illuminated the evening before Epiphany in Rocca Pietore. The bonfires lit in the hamlets of the municipality gathered the inhabitants for traditional songs and the anticipation of the night of the Magi, with the donàza bringing sweets and gifts to the children. An ancient rite that continues to renew the Ladin community's bond with its roots and the Marmolada mountains.
