Edition 2025 — Paesi in Festa

In 2025, Paesi in Festa once again enlivened Montaldeo in mid-June, with the large indoor restaurant set up at the Don Mario Faravelli municipal sports center. Pro Loco associations and groups from neighboring Lower Piedmont villages took turns in the kitchen, serving traditional dishes, while live music and games for children accompanied the festive days in the heart of the Novese area.

The 2025 edition of Paesi in Festa confirmed the formula that made the Montaldeo (Alessandria) event popular: a single large indoor restaurant at the Don Mario Faravelli municipal sports center, brought to life by the Pro Loco and associations of the Lower Piedmont villages.

Each association managed its own stall with a specialty—from ravioli to wood-fired pizza, grilled meat to fried fish—accompanied by local wines. With live music in the evening and activities for children, the festival reaffirmed its role as a convivial summer event in the Novese District.
