Edition 2025 — Paesano Ham Festival

The nineteenth edition of the Paesano Ham Festival took place in Castelpagano on August 13th and 14th, 2025, on the traditional dates of the eve of Ferragosto. Two evenings with an aperitif in the late afternoon, food stalls dedicated to the village's cured ham, cheeses, and local wine, live concerts from 9:00 PM, and DJ sets after midnight, organized by the Pro Loco Castelpagano with the Municipality.

2025 Edition: the nineteenth Paesano Ham Festival

On August 13th and 14th, 2025, Castelpagano hosted the 19th Paesano Ham Festival, confirming the formula that has made the event a summer classic in the province of Benevento. The aperitif with ham, breadsticks, and cheeses was served from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the "houses of the earth" space, while the food stalls opened from 8:00 PM with the tasting platter—ham, melon, mozzarella salad, selection of cheeses, bread, and drink—and the ham sandwich.

On the musical front, the first evening was entrusted to the folk music of the group EVOÈ, while on August 14th, a show orchestra took the stage; both evenings closed with a DJ set after midnight. Local wine was offered at 1 euro per glass and 3 euros per bottle, with beer, spritz, and cocktails between 4 and 7 euros. Free admission, as always.

August 13, 2025: aperitif from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (ham, breadsticks, cheeses); food stalls opening from 8:00 PM; from 9:00 PM folk music concert with EVOÈ; from midnight DJ set. August 14, 2025: aperitif from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM; food stalls from 8:00 PM; from 9:00 PM live show with orchestra; from midnight DJ set.

Prices

Free admission. Tasting platter 15 euros (ham, melon, mozzarella salad, selection of cheeses, bread, and drink), ham sandwich 5 euros with water or wine, aperitif 5 euros. Wine 1 euro per glass and 3 euros per bottle; beer, spritz, soft drinks, and cocktails between 4 and 7 euros.
