Edition 2025 — Paesaggi dell'Arte
Paesaggi dell'Arte 2025: the sixth edition
In 2025, Paesaggi dell'Arte offered a journey of "musical navigations" through seas and cultures in Tarquinia: on May 31, Norwegian pianist Jon Balke evoked the northern seas, while on June 1, Brazilian pianist Amaro Freitas crossed the Atlantic between South America and Africa. In July, the route touched Greece with the seventh edition of the Euterpe School of Ancient Music (July 10-12) and a concert by the Thiaseia group (July 13), inspired by subjects painted on masterpieces of Attic ceramics. The weekend of July 25-26 was dedicated to a tribute to Frank Zappa, with the summer closing on July 27 entrusted to the acrobatic and pyrotechnic performance of the Disorienti duo. From September 5 to 7, the festival concluded with "Canto e Silenzio," a seminar by trumpeter Markus Stockhausen. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Tarquinia with the support of the Lazio Region, confirmed the formula that combines live music with Etruscan heritage, from concerts in the city's historic sites to archaeomusic activities.
