The 2025 edition in Alfano

The appointment with the Paddoccola Festival was renewed in the summer of 2025 in the small village of Alfano, in the Province of Salerno. The formula remained the one consolidated over the years: food stalls set up in Piazza Cavaliere Giovanni Greco, evening opening, and tasting of the paddoccola, the potato, egg, and cheese croquette that represents the village's signature dish.

Tradition, music, and community

Alongside the signature dish, ciaurieddo, sweet zeppole, and wine from Cilento wineries were served. The evenings were accompanied, as per tradition, by live music and folk dancing, in a festive atmosphere that involved the entire village. The organization, entrusted to the San Nicola di Mira Parish together with the young volunteers, confirmed the solidarity-based vocation of the event, the proceeds of which are historically destined for the enhancement of local artistic and religious heritage.

The 2025 edition paved the way for the fifteenth edition, scheduled for August 12 and 13, 2026.
