How it went in 2025
In 2025, the Our Lady of the Rosary Festival in Piansano took place according to the traditional calendar, with the Ascension of the Madonna on Friday, October 3, and the solemn procession on Sunday, October 5, the first Sunday of the month. As every year, the 18th-century statue was welcomed by the Marian hymns of the community gathered in the parish church, and then carried in procession on the 1856 wooden float lifted on the shoulders of the bearers.
Alongside the religious rites, the town experienced days of secular celebration with food stalls dedicated to the typical products of the Viterbo Tuscia, live music evenings, and moments of gathering in the town squares. The edition was also documented on local social channels under the title Piansano in Festa, confirming the participation of an entire village in Lazio in one of its most deeply rooted traditions.
