Edition 2025 — Our Lady of the Rosary
The 2025 edition
From October 3 to 6, 2025, Genazzano renewed its devotion to Our Lady of the Rosary. The days were centered around the Church of San Giovanni and the square of the same name, in the historic center of the town, in the province of Rome.
As per tradition, the highlight was the solemn procession with the statue of the Virgin carried through the village streets, preceded by liturgical celebrations and the recitation of the rosary. The parade of confreres and sisters, wearing the robes and insignia of the Confraternity founded in 1575, crossed the decorated streets of the town followed by a large group of the faithful.
The 2025 edition confirmed the vitality of a festival that combines religious dimensions with village social life, in one of the most devout towns in Lazio, also known for the Sanctuary of the Madonna of Good Counsel.
