Our Lady of the Rosary Feast / Rosary Fair / Maccu Festival

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary took place in Raffadali (AG) on the first weekend of October, with the main days on October 5 and 6. On Sunday, after Holy Mass at the Church of the Rosary, the statue of the Madonna was carried in a solemn procession through the streets of the town, accompanied by confraternities and the brass band amidst religious songs and prayers.

Alongside the devotional dimension, the festival confirmed its traditional appointments: the Rosary Fair, with its characteristic agricultural and livestock market, the Maccu Festival dedicated to the typical Raffadali fava bean cream, and food stands with typical Sicilian products. There was no shortage of musical entertainment, folk group performances, and the fireworks display at the close of the festivities.
