Edition 2025 — Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Olino

In 2025, the hamlet of Olino in Calasca-Castiglione once again celebrated the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival, renewing a summer devotional tradition typical of the Valle Anzasca hamlets. The day combined a religious moment, with Holy Mass and Vespers in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel, with the customary distribution of local products, in an atmosphere of a village festival in the Ossola mountains.

The 2025 edition of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival took place in the Olino hamlet of Calasca-Castiglione, in the heart of Valle Anzasca (province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola).

As per tradition, the festival had its central moment in the religious celebrations — Holy Mass and Vespers dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel — followed by the distribution of local products, an opportunity for residents and vacationers who traveled up to the small stone village to meet.

The event is part of the municipality's rich summer calendar, consisting of festivals that animate the numerous hamlets of the territory one after another.
