Ottobrando 2025

The 2025 edition of Ottobrando brought life to Floresta, the highest municipality in Sicily, every Sunday in October (5, 12, 19, and 26 October). Each event focused on a typical Nebrodi product: the Vasola a Crucchittu Festival, the Nebrodi Black Pork Festival, the Mushroom Festival, and the Provola Cheese Festival, which reached its 47th edition and was celebrated on the final Sunday, 26 October, with the traditional "provola impiccata".

The stalls set up in the streets of the historic centre offered tastings of Slow Food Presidium Nebrodi provola, black pork charcuterie, and mushroom-based dishes, accompanied by market exhibitions, street artists, music, and folk performances. The festival confirmed its role as a premier autumn event in the Nebrodi area of the province of Messina.
