Edition 2025 — OttoBraidi

The 2025 edition of OttoBraidi took place on Wednesday, October 22, in the village of Braidi, Montalbano Elicona (ME). A day entirely dedicated to the Nebrodi autumn, with food stalls open for lunch and dinner, an artisan market from 10:00 AM, typical seasonal products, and a rich program of folklore, folk music, and family entertainment, from morning until the evening dance party.

The 2025 edition of OttoBraidi, the autumn festival of Braidi (village of Montalbano Elicona, ME), was held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The artisan market and stalls with typical products opened in the morning, while the food stalls offered Nebrodi specialties for lunch and dinner: sandwiches with black pork porchetta and mortadella, strozzapreti with porcini mushrooms, pasta with black pork sauce, as well as seasonal chestnuts, mushrooms, and hazelnuts.

The day was accompanied by folklore shows, dances, and folk music, the parade of the Sicilian cart, and an area dedicated to children with games, a puppet theater, and Disney characters, concluding with the traditional dance party. Admission to the event was free.

  • 10:00 AM — Opening of the artisan market and stalls with typical autumn products
  • Lunch and dinner — Food stalls with Nebrodi specialties: sandwiches with black pork porchetta and mortadella, strozzapreti with porcini mushrooms, pasta with black pork sauce, chestnuts, and mushrooms
  • Afternoon — Folklore, dances, parade of the Sicilian cart, and folk music; children's area with games, puppet theater, and Disney characters
  • Evening — Closing dance party
