Edition 2025 — OJF

The 12th edition of the Otranto Jazz Festival took place from July 10 to 31, 2025, with an opening at the former Convento dei Cappuccini. Three weeks of concerts, photo exhibitions, tastings, and pizzica evenings, under the artistic direction of Eddy Canonico. Highlights included the OJF Prize awarded to maestro Salvatore Accardo and the sea concert «Jazz on the boat».

The 12th edition of the Otranto Jazz Festival was held from July 10 to 31, 2025, inaugurated on Thursday, July 10, at the former Convento dei Cappuccini with two photography exhibitions: «Otranto Jazz Portraits», featuring unpublished images from past editions, and «Salento, storia, cultura e tradizione» by photographer and director Roberto Leone. Among the most evocative events was the July 13 session, with «Jazz on the boat» aboard the Hydra motor vessel, the Stella Band Show parade, and the Gigi Cifarelli Blue Organ Trio; during the same evening, the OJF Prize 2025 was awarded to maestro Salvatore Accardo. On July 14, it was the turn of the Highway 61 Quartet with Mario Schiavoni and Nicola Ricciardi, while the program continued with Jazz & Wine tastings, screenings, and a pizzica evening on July 27. The artistic direction was entrusted to Eddy Canonico, with organization by Produzioni Oriente and the Municipality of Otranto.
