The 17th edition of the Ostana Prize took place from June 27 to 29, 2025, at the foot of Monviso. Three days of meetings, concerts, and screenings dedicated to the world's mother tongues, with eight international winners in literature, translation, music, and cinema. The closing ceremony was held on Sunday, June 29, hosted by Paola Bertello and live-streamed on Radio Beckwith.

The seventeenth edition of the Ostana Prize brought together authors and artists of minority languages from all over the world in Ostana, in the heart of the Occitan Valleys of Piedmont. Among the winners: Kristian Braz (Breton, Special Prize), Soulama Maténé Martine «Téné Tina» (Cerma, Burkina Faso, International Prize), Francesca Sammartino (Croatian, Italy's historical minorities), Berta Dávila (Galician, Youth Prize), Éamon Ó Ciosáin (Irish, translation), Estelle Ceccarini (Occitan), Marie Olga Sohantenaina «Olga del Magascar» (Malagasy, music), and Mano Khalil (Kurdish, cinema). The award ceremony, on Sunday, June 29, from 2:00 PM, was presented by Paola Bertello and broadcast for the first time via live streaming and radio.
