Orvinio Cinema 2025, the fourth edition

From July 23rd to 27th, 2025, Orvinio hosted five days of auteur cinema at the Sala Manenti. The festival opened with the Italian feature film Io non sono nessuno by Geraldine Ottier, followed in the evening by the French film Rouge by Farid Bentoumi.

In the following days, the program featured Tornando a Est by Antonio Pisu, who was present in the hall, the German film Quando sarà finalmente come non è mai stato? by Sonja Heiss, Indelebile by Simone Valentini, and the Armenian film Amerikatsi by Michael A. Goorjian. On Saturday, July 26th, screenwriter Francesca Romana Zanni was awarded, followed by the round table 'Oltre il bersaglio' on the theme of bullying, and the screening of Il ragazzo dai pantaloni rosa by Margherita Ferri.

The godmother of the edition was author Carlotta Corradi; a special directing award went to Giuseppe Bonito. The closing, on Sunday, July 27th, featured a showcase of short films and a concert by the female trio '3 NOTE', blending jazz and swing. Admission to all screenings was free, with themed dinners available by reservation.
