The 2025 Ortisei Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Carnival in Ortisei renewed the appointment with the Juebia Grassa, the Ladin Fat Thursday. The traditional masked procession paraded along the pedestrian area of Via Rezia, featuring costume groups, allegorical figures with noisy cowbells, and festive families. The awarding of the most original masks took place in the Parish Square. As every year, the Val Gardena Carnival combined the village parade with celebrations on the snow, with the Ski Carnival on the slopes of Ortisei, confirming a tradition rooted in the community and the Ladin culture of the Dolomites.
