Ortigia Sound System / Ortigia Music Festival

The 2025 edition of the Ortigia Music Festival (historically Ortigia Sound System) was held in Syracuse, on the island of Ortigia, from July 31 to August 3, 2025, marking the beginning of a new phase for the festival under the artistic direction of Rosalie De Meyer.

The program animated the city's historic center across beaches, markets, open-air stages, and two boat parties per day. The lineup brought together prominent names from the international electronic scene, including Max Cooper with an audiovisual live set at the Antico Mercato, Modeselektor in a DJ set, DJ Python, Bambounou, Elkka, DJ Stingray 313, as well as artists like Blawan, Donato Dozzy, Objekt, KOKOKO!, and numerous research projects and artistic residencies.

Tickets were sold online via the Dice platform, with options for the full duration or individual days, confirming Ortigia as one of the most anticipated appointments of the Sicilian musical summer.
