Orte in Cantina

The 2025 edition

The seventeenth edition of Orte in Cantina was held over two Sundays, November 30 and December 7, 2025, confirming the traditional schedule of the event. The historic center of Orte was traversed by an itinerary of nine food and wine stops, each dedicated to a local dish paired with a selected wine.

Each group, accompanied by a guide and sommeliers from the Italian Sommelier Association, received a wine glass holder, a glass, and a badge with the tour map, with staggered entries from 11:20 AM to 3:30 PM. The program also included the tasting of new oil, with the reconstruction of an ancient olive mill and live olive pressing, craft markets, and the conclusion in Piazza della Libertà with live music.

The full ticket was set at €38.00, the reduced ticket for those up to 14 years old at €23.00; reservations, exclusively online, opened on November 8. The organization was handled by the The Grove Cultural Association with the Pro Loco of Orte, the Municipality of Orte, and the Roman Sommelier Association, with free shuttle service from parking areas and the train station.
