Ornano Grande Frittella Festival

The 2025 Ornano Grande Frittella Festival was held from Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, July 27 in the village of Ornano Grande, Colledara, in the province of Teramo. Organized by the Circolo Culturale Ornano Grande with the patronage of the Colledara municipality, the event brought Piazza Venezia to life for four evenings.

The star was the Ornano frittella, kneaded, rolled out, and fried by hand and served in the classic version with prosciutto, cheeses, local cured meats, and a special mushroom sauce, in addition to variations with tomato and peppers, eggs and peppers, and Colledara porchetta. Alongside the food stalls, featuring arrosticini and local dishes, the evenings offered live music and entertainment for all ages.
