In 2025, the Organo Plus festival of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music celebrated the 275th anniversary of the passing of Johann Sebastian Bach, one of the absolute peaks of organ music. The events in Rome were held on November 21 at the PIMS Academic Hall and November 28 at the Abbey Church of Sant'Anselmo on the Aventine.
The edition confirmed the festival's vocation: combining the interpretative excellence of the Pontifical Institute with the rediscovery of the great sacred repertoire, in two of the most significant venues for organ music in Rome.
