Edition 2025 — OrDona con Gusto

On Thursday, August 7, 2025, Piazza Paolo VI in Ordona hosted OrDona con Gusto, the day dedicated by the local AVIS chapter to solidarity, food, and fun. From blood drives with a mobile unit to children's games, and the Porchetta Festival with quizzes and music: a free event supported by the Municipality of Ordona and the Provincial AVIS of Foggia.

OrDona con Gusto 2025

The 2025 edition of OrDona con Gusto was held on Thursday, August 7, in Piazza Paolo VI, in the center of Ordona (FG). The event, promoted by the local AVIS chapter with the patronage of the Municipality of Ordona and the support of the Provincial AVIS of Foggia, combined the act of blood donation with the atmosphere of a village festival in a single evening.

As president Pietro Gervasio recalled, the event was created to counter the drop in donations typical of the summer period, bringing citizens and tourists closer to blood collection through a social occasion open to everyone. The day unfolded from late afternoon until evening, alternating civic commitment, entertainment for the little ones, and gastronomy.

Programme

Thursday, August 7, 2025 — Piazza Paolo VI, Ordona

  • 17:00 — Opening of blood collection with the mobile unit, in collaboration with the Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza hospital in San Giovanni Rotondo
  • 19:00 — Entertainment for children with games, inflatables, and activities
  • 21:00 — Porchetta Festival, "Cervellone" team quiz, and music with DJ Dominick

Highlights

The evening Porchetta Festival, the "Cervellone" team quiz, and music by DJ Dominick, along with blood collection via the mobile unit from the Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza hospital.

Prices

Free admission. Blood donation took place at the mobile unit set up in the square.
