Edition 2025 — Opera de Mari New Year's Concert
Ninth edition: January 5, 2025
The ninth edition of the Grand New Year's Concert of the Opera de Mari Festival welcomed 2025 at the Teatro Sebastiano Arturo Luciani in Acquaviva delle Fonti, on Sunday, January 5, 2025, before a packed house. On the podium of the Pugliese Philharmonic Orchestra was Maestro Giuseppe Bini, accompanied by soprano Natalizia Carone and tenor Dario Di Vietri.
A moment of great charm was the performance of the AltraDanza Company, with choreography by Domenico Iannone to the notes of the suite from the ballet "Swan Lake" by Tchaikovsky. The program spanned music by Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, and Mascagni, hosted by presenters Paola Scalera and Carlo Milano. The proceeds of the evening were donated to support the San Francesco Family Home in San Giovanni Rotondo, on the occasion of its fortieth anniversary.
