Opera and Ballet Season of the Verdi Theatre of Trieste

The 2024-2025 season of the Verdi Theatre opened on November 8, 2024, with a new production of Verdi's La Traviata, created in the theatre's artisan workshops, directed by Arnaud Bernard and conducted by Enrico Calesso. The cast included Maria Grazia Schiavo as Violetta, Antonio Poli (Alfredo), and Roberto Frontali (Giorgio Germont).

The program, featuring nine opera titles and a ballet evening, reaffirmed the Verdi Theatre's commitment to blending major Italian repertoire with international works, with performances also held in Udine and Pordenone to extend the opera audience throughout the region.
