Edition 2025 — Open Studios Spanish Academy
The 2025 edition of Open Studios took place on Thursday, March 27, 2025, in the monumental complex of San Pietro in Montorio, home to the Real Academia de España en Roma, on the Janiculum Hill in Rome. The artists and researchers in residence for the 2024/2025 cohort opened their studios to share the investigations and creative processes developed throughout the year.
The disciplines represented ranged from visual arts to architecture, cinema to design, literature to music, as well as theoretical studies and cultural heritage conservation. The day followed the usual double schedule: access by appointment for professionals in the morning and free open access for the public from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
