Edition 2025 — Open Studios BSR

In 2025, the British School at Rome's Open Studios returned with multiple events throughout the year. The Spring Open Studios were held on March 5th and 6th, 2025, at the Valle Giulia headquarters, with artists' studios open to the public for free. In addition to the spring and summer editions, a winter session was also introduced.

Open Studios 2025

In 2025, the British School at Rome opened the studios of its artists in residence to the public on several occasions throughout the year. The Spring Open Studios took place on Wednesday, March 5 (6:00 PM - 8:30 PM) and Thursday, March 6 (4:00 PM - 7:00 PM), featuring a group of fellows including Cathie Pilkington (Bridget Riley Fellow) and Ash Tower (Samstag Scholar in the Visual Arts). The year's calendar also included a Summer Open Studios, dedicated to research ranging from artistic patronage to the representation of power, and a Winter Open Studios with a further rotation of artists. As always, admission was free, confirming the BSR's commitment to opening its doors to the city and its cultural scene.
