Edition 2025 — OPEN Festival

In 2025, OPEN Festival once again brought contemporary circus and street theatre to the squares of Mantua, featuring Italian and international companies and dozens of free shows. For three days, the historic centre transformed into a large open-air stage, welcoming families and curious visitors of all ages.

The 2025 edition of OPEN Festival confirmed the successful formula of the Mantua event: new circus and urban theatre brought for free to the squares of Mantua's historic centre.

Organised by the Fondazione Umberto Artioli — Mantova Capitale Europea dello Spettacolo, the festival hosted companies from various countries with acts of acrobatics, juggling, and clowning, animating Piazza Mantegna, Piazza Erbe, and other central spaces for three days. A highly popular event that paved the way for the eighth edition in 2026.
