Cantine Aperte 2025 in Matelica

The 2025 edition of Cantine Aperte in Matelica was hailed as a great success. Six wineries in the area — including Tenuta Grimaldi, Maraviglia, Belisario, Borgo Paglianetto, and Bisci — opened their doors to visitors for tastings of Verdicchio di Matelica.

The turnout, described as a "boom of visitors," confirmed the region's appeal: attendees came from all over Italy and from abroad. Mayor Denis Cingolani expressed "great satisfaction for the excellent execution" of the initiative, while councilor Barbara Cacciolari highlighted the growing international awareness of Verdicchio's value. Out of over eighty Marche wineries participating in the national event, six were located precisely in Matelica.
