Edition 2025 — Open Castles Pozzolo Formigaro

For the 2025 edition of Open Castles, the Pozzolo Formigaro Castle opened its doors to the public on select Sundays between spring and autumn, offering free tours with audioguides or professional guides from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. An opportunity to admire the Visconti-Sforza fortress and its artistic heritage in the heart of the Novese area, in the Province of Alessandria.

In 2025, the Pozzolo Formigaro Castle once again participated in the regional Open Castles event in Piedmont. During the opening days, visitors were able to explore the council chamber with its frescoes by Franceschino Boxilio, the works of art, and the Roman tomb housed within the fortress for free.

The tours, whether self-guided with an audioguide or led by a guide, took place in the afternoon from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, confirming the manor's status as a popular stop on the Alessandria circuit of the event.
